One Month In Plastic - 2020

Through the practice of daily drawing, I digitally illustrated every piece of single-use plastic that I disposed of for the month of February 2020. The intent of this project was to hold myself accountable, to catalog my consumption, and to be conscious of what areas of my life I have room for improvement in terms of limiting my plastic consumption.

This project is inspired by Obsessive Consumption by Kate Bingaman-Burt and her use of illustration as a method of daily documentation. This project builds on a long-term interest in environmental issues and dives deeper into the effect that our daily habits have on the environment.
